Collaboration Vol.1 with Aizome Koubou Ajin uses Indian hand-woven fabric “Khadi” and tie-dyes the image of a blue sky with thin clouds when the new north wind (Minishi) blows in Okinawa, which heralds the arrival of autumn. The gentle mottled pattern created by hand is a one-of-a-kind finish.

Kapok cotton, also known as vegetable down, is combined with carefully dyed khadi. A long brim bucket hat that is as light as a cloud without breaking the texture of the fabric by keeping its shape with a kapok cotton core. In early fall, the long brim blocks out the still hot sun, and in winter, the kapok keeps you warm. A hat that can be worn regardless of the season.
There are loops on both sides of the inside so you can attach a string or ribbon.

Plow the fields, pull grass, sprinkle water and harvest.
The pigment is extracted over time with the help of nature, and the precipitated mud indigo is built.
Then, the indigo color is fixed on the fabric while being exposed to the air.
From cultivating Ryukyu indigo, which has long been used in traditional Okinawan textiles, to dyeing, Ajin does all the processes himself.
"Colors connected to the soil" are born at the end of the daily accumulation.

[Precautions for handling]
Do not wash as it may deform. If it gets dirty, pick up or wipe off only the dirty part.
Because it is a hand-woven fabric, there may be some uneven weaving and slub due to the characteristics of the material, but this is a hand-woven feature. In addition, since natural dyes are used, the hue gradually changes. Please enjoy the unique texture.
Please be careful of color fading and color transfer due to friction.
When storing, avoid direct sunlight and store in a dark place with low humidity such as a chest of drawers or a closet.
